Job DescriptionThe driver is responsible for driving a Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) as well as packing, moving and safely transporting household goods, office furniture and other heavy items while providing outstanding customer service to allTWO MEN AND A TRUCK®customers. The driver should have general knowledge of functional support areas, including the core business, customer service and moving.CompensationDrivers start $22/Hour and includes paid trainingIn 2023 on average our Movers and Drivers received $3.50/Hour in gratuitiesJob ResponsibilitiesActs as the physical point of contact for new and existing customers and establishes a rapport and builds confidence inTWO MEN AND A TRUCKservicesMakes recommendations according to customer’s needs on moving services, boxes, supplies and equipment and other value-added services; May recommend alternateservices and/or products based on cost, availability or customer specificationsObtains customer feedback throughout the move to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and proactively resolve any complaintsCalmly and professionally handles displeased customers and provides timely feedback to management regarding customer concernsKeeps the customer and management informed of anticipated delays and any additional information needed to increase customer satisfaction and improve profitabilityContinually maintains thorough understanding of all company products, services, pricing and promotions in order to communicate the benefits and value ofTWO MEN AND A TRUCKand effectively oppose any customer objectionsPerforms Schedule 1 daily truck inspections.

Six months ofTWO MEN AND A TRUCKor moving industry experience is preferredLanguage Skills: ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization; bilingual is a plusMathematical Skills: ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers and decimals. Ability to perform these operations using units of Canadian dollars and weight measurements, volume, distance and timeReasoning Ability: ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations with limited standardized procedures. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished with written, oral, diagram or schedule formPhysical Demands: the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, talk, sit, hear, use hands and fingers, handle, feel and/or lift with hands and arms.
