Mechanical Designer L1Company:Nord QuantiqueLocation:Sherbrooke, QC, CanadaEmployment type:Permanent, full time, 40-hour weekSalary:$74,000 - $85,000 per yearBenefits:5 weeks vacation, group insurance (including dental care), virtual care, lifestyle spending account (available after 3 months)Job SummaryMechanical Designer focusing on CAD of cryogenic dilution refrigerator setups, assemblies of 3D resonator cavities, and structural and thermal analysis.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop CAD models of 3D cavities, ensuring mechanical precision and compatibility with cryogenic environments; create technical drawings for fabrication.Explore mechanical elements of designs and manufacturing techniques in cavity designs to improve assembly repeatability.Conduct structural and thermal analysis of the cryogenic setup to support payload and thermal performance, analytically and with FEA simulations.Design and document the cryogenic setups for dilution refrigerator systems.Maintain and organize CAD libraries, revision control, and documentation to support long‑term system scaling and reproducibility.Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams (Design, Quantum Hardware,
