Continuous Improvement Specialist (L3)Reference #35537Waterdown, OntarioAbout the RoleWork across functional disciplines of the organization; focusing on the continuous improvement culture, operational excellence, and continually enhancing our improvement tool sets and methodologies. The ideal candidate is passionate about leading change, driving results, and promoting a culture of improvement.Primary ResponsibilitiesContinuous Improvement Programs:Lead Gemba and 6S maturity assessment, training, and improvements across the site.Operational Excellence:Support teams in operational excellence journey through people engagement, facilitation of kaizen, and driving customer focus.Process Analysis:Facilitate the collection, analysis and visualisation of existing process data aligned with the customer value stream to improve safety, quality, and cost.Lean:Application of lean tools to eliminate waste and reduce process variation with project teams.Project Coordination:Engage cross-functional teams in planning, execution, and monitoring of improvement projects, ensuring timely completion and validated attainment of objectives.Change Management:Ensure successful adoption of change through effective management of the human side of change.Training, Development and Learning:Support and provide training of lean tools and methodologies, and identify self-development opportunities.Contribute to Culture:Stay above the line while working with complex changes and conflict. Engage and contribute to the continuous improvement mindset.Digital Transformation:Provide fresh perspective on current CI processes,
