The successful candidate will possess exceptional communication skills and a talent for sales and sales team management. The role provides an opportunity to manage a Business Development/Lead Generation sales team and offers a challenging career with advancement within the company. Working closely with senior leaders, the successful candidate will help find creative ways to source & connect with suitable software companies for acquisition.ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day responsibilities of a Business Development/Lead Generation sales teamDesign and manage lead generation dashboards and reportsHelp identify potential M&A; leadsAssist in team’s M&A; sales pipeline management processMentor and train junior business development associatesRespond to ad-hoc requests in a high-pressure and time-sensitive environment; conduct research to identify and map attractive markets and software companies to acquire; perform any otherreasonable duties as requiredDemonstrate creativity, persistence, and credibility in reaching out to owners, operators, and C‑suite leadershipSkills and Experience7+ years of experience in a business development/lead generation role, ideally in a B2B environment3+ years of experience managing an M&A; sales/lead generation teamAbility to manage a pipeline of leads and exceed prospecting target quotas; highly metrics-driven with extensive experience in cold calling founders and C‑suite executives to generate an effective acquisition funnelStrong communication skills with confidence in presenting to C‑suite executives and business ownersExperience working in M&A;, software, or technology is considered an assetFamiliarity with Salesforce is an assetMultilingual is an asset as we are expanding globallyProfessional attitude and a persistent, solid work ethicAbility to work independently and in a team-oriented, team‑oriented hybrid environmentExcellent academic performance in an undergraduate business degree#J-18808-Ljbffr
