The successful candidate will have a diploma in building science or a related trade or technical qualification, and hold a valid BC driver’s license.You possess two years of experience in plumbing or building preferably within local government and are a BCWWA Certified Backflow Assembly Tester.ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Manager, Water Quality,
the Cross Connection Control Inspector is responsible for identifying and mitigating potential risks from cross connections and other bylaw infractions within regional district water utilities.QualificationsDiploma in building science or a related trade or technical qualification; valid BC driver’slicense.Two years of experience in plumbing or building, preferably within local government.BCWWA Certified Backflow Assembly Tester.Employment detailsRegular, full-time position (35 hours/week) with a wage range of $38.73 to $44.50 per hour, depending upon experience and qualifications, as well as an extensive benefits package and generous compressed work schedule.#J-18808-Ljbffr
