As a tutor for Cosmo 1:1, you will have a flexible and consistent schedule that you set. We teach math, ELA, and SAT classes and have Cosmo provided learning plans for our tutors to use.This is the opportunity for experienced educators to connect with students in an after school setting. You will meet with your students at a set time each week for 50 minute 1 on 1 lessons. As a Cosmo 1:1 tutor you will build a welcoming and fun learning setting for your student as you help them grow. It is important for our teachers to be reliable role models for our students who come to class well prepared, on time, and with a passionate and kind demeanor.The base rate for this position is $20 CAD plus additional incentives and bonuses.Available times include 6-9 AM EST or 3-10 PM EST on Monday through Friday or during the weekends, with a minimum of 20 hours of availability per week and a private, quiet location. A bachelor’s degree is required and 3 years of experience teaching grades K-12 in math, ELA, or SAT prep is preferred.
