We are looking for aTemporary Regular Part time (RPT) Recreationiststaff member who can help us run a wide variety of programs that assist our residents to achieve maximum physical, mental, emotional and social potential.ResponsibilitiesAs a Recreationist, you will plan, organize and conduct group and individual programs for the residents, while also following guidelines regarding referrals or instructions signed by the Medical Director and/or professional therapists. Your work may also involve liaising with outside agencies/other recreationists, professional organizations to promote positive growth of the role. Attention to detail is imperative, as you will be recording and reporting resident progress, establishing program priorities, scheduling, and program evaluations.What can you expect as an employee?Competitive compensation - $27.66 to $28.09/hr (2024) with 14% in lieu of benefits and 4% vacation pay, paid each pay.Offered enrollment in the OMERS pension plan (if enrolled,
