Based in Ontario, this role reports to the Contract Administrator and focuses on completing field and technical inspections for large‑scale highway construction projects across the province. The position offers a salary range of $60,000 – $85,000 annually.ResponsibilitiesComplete field inspections, independently performing a broad range of technical inspections in accordance with established standards and regulations.Inspect methods and materials used by contractors, ensuring conformity with specifications.Assess and analyze compliance with contract documents.Ensure environmental protection measures are installed and functioning.Conduct materials testing, including compaction testing, bag and tag methods, and field surveys to verify dimensions and grade.Accurately record inspection activities in the Field Diary, provide continuous evaluation of construction progress, and report to the Contract Administrator.Oversee junior inspectors and checkers.QualificationsRCIS (Road Construction Senior Inspector)
