We are an interdisciplinary team of advocates, including lawyers, economists, and seasoned industry experts. Together, we apply legal and public policy principles along with technical knowledge to advance TELUS' interests within the Canadian communications industry.Reporting to the Director, Regulatory Law and Policy, as a highly capable advocate, you will be responsible for leading TELUS’ legal and policy submissions on telecommunications, broadcasting, and copyright matters before the CRTC and other public bodies. You will also be called upon to provide advice to our businesses, and will collaborate with team members across Canada and the world to advance our interests. including our Customers First strategyWhat you bring2-7 years experience practicing law with experience in written advocacyExcellent written advocacy and oral communications skillsA demonstrated ability to manage complex files involving cross-functional teams, prioritize and deal with multiple assignments, and exercise judgment, often under significant time pressuresA demonstrated ability to balance business requirements against regulatory risks and to formulate solutions to advance the needs of business unitsGreat-to-havesExperience in any of the following areas of law is an asset: telecommunications, broadcasting, copyright, administrative, competition, and litigation.Ability to read and communicate in French#LI-REMOTESalary Range: $110,000-$160,000Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan: 15%Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience.
