Job Code: 21390Status : Full TimeLocation : PSR Assertive Community TreatmentUnion : ONA PCHWage : $40.24 - $57.68Posting Period : Posted Until FilledAs a member of the interprofessional team, the Registered Nurse is responsible for providing expertise in psychiatric nursing services, including management and administration of medication in conjunction with the team psychiatrist and other nurses on the team; assessing the unique needs of clients with additional physical complications; making appropriate referrals to community services; and providing consultation to Registered Practical Nurses on more complex client needs. The Registered Nurse also contributes to the development of comprehensive client-centred assessments and treatment and recovery plans; and service coordination for an assigned group of clients that includes providing a range of treatment, rehabilitation and support services.Skills & Qualifications RequiredBachelor’s Degree in NursingCurrent and unrestricted registration with the College of Nurses of OntarioMinimum of five years of work experience providing services to adults with a serious mental illness including two years community-based experience, effectively accessing and employing community resources to meet the needs of the clientExperience working in a wide range of community settings,
