As a Principal at Intact, you will guide the transformation of our Policy Administration System, ensuring its robustness for millions of users. Reporting to the Vice-President, you will take charge of the architecture and overall strategy while embedding AI and up-to-date engineering practices into the product lifecycle. This role offers significant visibility and decision-making authority as you shape the future of our operational platform.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the architectural design and implementation path for PAS
• Incorporate AI to enhance underwriting and customer experience
• Establish secure engineering practices and compliance standards




• Build a community among engineering teams through mentorship
• Track key performance metrics for continuous improvement
Requirements:
• 15+ years in software and enterprise architecture roles
• Mastery of Java, Angular, and cloud services
• Experience with integrating AI in enterprise applications
• Strong influence and negotiation abilities across teams
• Eligible to work in Canada with bilingualism for Quebec candidates
