The department consists of over 95 experienced professionals dedicated to providing world‑class trade finance service.Job DescriptionThe Operations Analyst I works in a team of approximately 15 and reports to the Manager, Loans & Settlements. The analyst handles credit, loan administration, and Trade Finance settlements.Job AccountabilitiesManage credit limits.Create and release transactions in Loan IQ.Process and verify Export Credit Agency loans, trade loans, syndicated loans, supply chain finance and other structured trade finance.Review documentation and approvals before approving and executing credit requests and loan funding.Validate loan agreements, search letters of credit, documentary letters of credit & collections terms and conditions.Execute transactions and ensure payments, fees,
receivables and cash flows are properly settled.Prioritize and manage workload to meet the Service Level Agreement.Maintain staff competence through training and knowledge improvement.Follow firm and industry regulations, including AML EDD and Anti‑Boycott procedures.Provide excellent customer service, resolve complex issues, and conduct investigations.Escalate non‑standard or high‑risk transactions to senior management.Execute processing responsibilities in various systems, environments and jurisdictions.Generate daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports for internal and external stakeholders.Respond to ad‑hoc requests and identify process improvement opportunities.Support team development and promote a positive work environment.Job RequirementsAt least 2 years’ experience in a credit environment.Bachelor’s degree in finance, international business, or related discipline.Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.Strong analytical, problem‑solving and judgment skills.Experience in loan administration and trade documentation.Flexible, innovative, proactive and self‑starter.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of interacting with senior management.Proficient in Microsoft Office.Knowledge of URR725, UCP600, URC522 (asset).Knowledge of Trade 360 and Loan IQ (asset).Fluency in French (asset).Who We AreTD Securities offers a wide range of capital markets products and services to corporate, government and institutional clients.
