Compensation Specialist (10-month contract)Position OverviewAs Compensation Specialist (10-month contract) you will conduct job evaluations, support market data analysis, and assist in administering compensation programs across our Canadian operations. You’ll work closely with HR partners and business leaders to ensure consistent, fair, and well‑communicated compensation practices, contributing to a positive employee experience and strong organizational alignment.LocationHybrid in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada.Your Day to DaySupport the Job Evaluation and Architecture framework by completing point‑factor evaluations accurately and on time, ensuring roles align with internal standards and organizational structure.Maintain the integrity of job classification and documentation by auditing, updating, and administering records in the electronic Job Description Management system (Pay Factors), ensuring all approvals and evaluation data remain current.Coordinate the company’s participation in salary surveys, including gathering, validating, and submitting required data; analyze resultingmarket information to monitor competitive positioning and provide insights to support compensation decisions.Contribute to maintaining pay equity compliance by ensuring job evaluation data is accurate and by supporting required audits, reviews, and regulatory reporting activities.Participate in compensation and HR‑related projects as assigned, supporting initiatives designed to improve processes, tools, and overall program delivery.Identify opportunities to streamline and automate routine activities to improve operational efficiency within the Compensation function.Provide general administrative, analytical, and policy support to the Compensation team as required, ensuring consistent application of compensation practices.Build your professional expertise by proactively seeking mentorship, staying informed on compensation trends,
