Jump Recruitment, on behalf of our client, Newfound Mechanical, is seeking to fill a Safety Advisor position that will be based out of Charlottetown, PEI with travel throughout the Atlantic provinces.Position SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Safety Advisor to join our team. The Safety Advisor will be responsible for promoting a safe work environment by monitoring safety policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and help prevent workplace accidents and injuries.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain workplace health and safety programsMaintain a strong and visible field presence, emphasizing proactive prevention and leading indicator activitiesPartner with management and operations to reinforce safety expectations through consistent coaching and engagementProvide expertise and guidance on safety standards, best practices, and risk mitigation strategiesAssist employees in identifying hazards and implementing effective controls to reduce riskConduct regular safety inspections and risk assessmentsEnsure compliance with company, contractual, local, provincial, and federal safety regulationsInvestigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses; prepare detailed reportsMaintain safety training documentation and schedule safety training when requiredComplete orientation for employeesMaintain records of safety inspections, incidents,
