SummaryJob Title: Antenna Design Engineering Team LeadWork Type: Full Time, PermanentReport to: Senior Product Engineering ManagerSalary Range: CAN$100,000.00 – CAN$120,000.00What You’ll DoOverseeing the day-to-day activities of the Antenna engineering technician team to ensure they run smoothly.Lead teams to execute against corporate objectives and drive entire team KPIs and reporting.Provide technical support to internal and external customers.Manage collaboration to work with internal and external customer interactions.Identify gaps in existing processes and lead process improvement opportunities to ensure recent processes are effective and efficient.Develop templates and standard procedures for the team to ensure that tasks are performed consistently, efficiently, and with high quality.Managing a group of Antenna Engineering technician resources to work on NPR/ECR/NCMR/RMA and QA support requests.Provide coaching and guidance related to antenna design methodologyGuide and train team members, developing team members’ skill sets.Dedicating to continuous improvement processes while maintaining good team spirit.Perform computer-aided design and analysis of innovative antennas.Provide antenna specifications, design requirements, and simulations.Provide R&D technical support to the antenna engineer manager.Carry out antenna prototype development and testing, both in the lab and in the field.Perform near- and far-field testing of antennas in low-band, VHF, UHF, and 5G/6G mobile wireless communication systems.Perform other related duties as assigned.What You’ll Bring5+ years of working experience in antenna design and development is preferredHands-on experience in:Passive/Active antenna (70MHz – mmWave)
