With two facilities located in Delta and Hope, BC, Rubicon is entering an exciting recent phase of expansion and innovation.We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Logistics Manager to lead all Logistics and Sales Order operations across our owned facilities and third‑party partners. This role is critical to ensuring the efficient flow of finished goods, supporting both production and commercial objectives.The ideal candidate is a hands‑on, data‑driven leader who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, brings structure to complex operations, and empowers teams to deliver high performance.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing Logistics team (2 Logistics Specialists and 1 Supply Chain Coordinator), leveraging strong people management and coaching skillsDrive team engagement, performance management, and career development through effective leadership and communicationFoster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement through KPIs, development plans, and cross‑trainingOversee all logistics operations across internal facilities and third‑party providers (freight and warehousing)Drive cost reduction initiatives through data analysis, vendor negotiations, and process improvementsManage RFP/RFQ processes for third‑party logistics providersDevelop and maintain supplier scorecards to monitor performance and drive continuous improvementTrack and manage supplier contracts, renewals, and complianceOversee inbound and outbound logistics (domestic and international), including coordination with regulatory bodiesApprove freight invoices, manage logistic spend, and improve cost efficiency per shipmentManage month‑end freight accrualsActively participate in and drive timely investigations,
ensuring all supporting documentation is completed for Health Canada and PwC AuditsDevelop and track advanced logistics KPIsEnsure accuracy in shipping documentation and optimize transportation modes (air vs. ground)Leverage advanced Excel tools to analyze large datasets and identify opportunities for optimizationCollaborate cross‑functionally with Production, Quality, Finance, Marketing, R&D;, and Supply Innovation teamsSupport ERP enhancements and process automation initiativesEnsure operational readiness during month‑end and quarter‑end high‑volume periodsQualifications & Experience7+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management, with a strong focus on LogisticsProven leadership experience in a fast‑paced manufacturing or CPG environment - Strong negotiation, vendor management, and analytical skillsExperience in regulated industries (e.G., cannabis, pharmaceuticals, food & beverage) is an assetProficiency with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred)Experience with import/export, customs clearance, and regulatory complianceAdvanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Lookups, Power Query, data modeling)Strong organizational, problem‑solving, and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlinesPost‑secondary education in Supply Chain, Business, or related fieldSCMP, APICS, or equivalent certification is an assetWhy RubiconCanadian leader in premium, certified organic cannabis.Growing and expanding company with strong momentum.High‑ownership team that values accountability, speed, and continuous improvement.Visible impact on service and cost; opportunities to learn across functions.Quality‑first mindset and scale‑up environment.Base salary of $80K‑$90K with an annual performance bonus.Medical and dental benefits after three months.Unlimited vacation and an ability to work from home one day a week.Monthly phone stipend.Dog‑friendly office!#J-18808-Ljbffr
