Thesalaryrange for this position is$77,900to$103,900. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may be entitled to other elements of total compensation, which may include group benefits, employer RRSP contributions, and discretionary bonus or incentive programs, where applicable to the role. Here’s how we’ll know you are the best fit:5–7+ years of experience in Occupational Health & Safety and/or Food Safety.2–3+ years of experience managing direct reports, including coaching, performance management, and development.Experience leading safety professionals in a multi-site, operational, and/or unionized environment.Strong, practical understanding of occupational health & safety legislation and/or food safety regulatory frameworks.Ability to balance technical expertise with people leadership, business partnership, and execution.Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Public Health, or a related discipline.Professional designation such as CRSP, CHSC, CPH, and/or recognized food safety credentials (HACCP, GFSI, SQF, etc.) are strongly preferred.A confident, approachable people leader who sets direction and enables others to succeed.Curious and adaptable, with interest in technology, AI, and modern problem-solving approaches.Sound judgment when navigating complex or high-risk safety matters.Clear communicator with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization.Organized and resilient, able to lead effectively across a broad and energetic portfolio.Working Conditions:Primarily office-based with periodic field visits.Frequent interaction with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies.Some travel required within Ontario.#J-18808-Ljbffr
