The incumbent is responsible for routinely checking all hardware and maintains perfusion related equipment and disposables stock on an ongoing basis, carries out blood gas, heparin concentration, activated clotting time and thrombelastograph analysis as well as quality control and calibration of those analyzers.



The incumbent also acquaints other health care professionals with the perfusionists handling and use of equipment.
