Benefits include health, vision, and dental coverage from day one (no deductions), RRSP matching, tool allowance, and a comprehensive benefits program.Position SummaryLicensed Maintenance Technician responsible for maintaining operational performance through compliance with maintenance programs and work‑order scheduling, including reactive and preventative maintenance for technical and non‑technical components.Primary ResponsibilitiesDemonstrate and uphold Riverside Natural Food’s Core Values.Ensure Health, Safety, and Food Safety compliance.Attend breakdown calls and independently troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.Escalate recurring problems and work on eliminating them.Perform minor repairs, equipment set‑up, change‑over, overhaul, and fabrication as needed.Conduct preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment such as food mixers, slab forming machines, horizontal wrappers, robotic pick‑and‑place systems, case packers, tunnel ovens, and conveyors.Provide technical assistance in preventive‑maintenance optimization.Assist outside contractors and ensure GMP policies are adhered to.Maintain the highest standards of housekeeping, safety, documentation, spare‑part logging,



and area cleanup.Participate in cross‑functional continuous‑improvement initiatives.Carry out additional duties as assigned.Reporting RelationshipsReports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor.Key Qualifications / RequirementsMinimum five years as a Millwright Mechanic, Maintenance Technician, or Electrician.Certified NOC 7311 or "Red Seal" Millwright Mechanic or Provincial Electrician Ticket (433A, 442A, 309D).Experience with equipment such as vertical and horizontal wrappers, robotics pick‑and‑place, and tunnel ovens is an asset.Knowledge of PLC, robotics, HMIs, and Allen Bradley controls preferred.Ability to read technical drawings and electrical schematics.Hands‑on experience with power transmission, electric and electronic controls, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, welding, brazing, soldering, servo and electric motors, lubrication systems, machining (lathes, milling, drill press).Rigging and hoisting experience is an asset.Flexibility to work afternoons and weekends.Core ValuesTeam player with a positive attitude.Exceptional time‑management and organizational skills; self‑starter withinitiative.Ownership, grit, and a proven desire to learn.Humility and respect in day‑to‑day interactions.Adaptability in a changing environment.Maintains a fun work atmosphere.Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when required.What We ExpectValues‑led teamwork, compassion,
