Mechanical EstimatorWe are seeking an experienced Mechanical Estimator to support bidding and pre‑construction activities across commercial and light‑industrial projects. This role is well‑suited for a Journeyman tradesperson with strong hands‑on HVAC and plumbing experience who is ready to apply technical expertise in a desk‑based, detail‑driven role. The Mechanical Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate, competitive estimates, supporting project handoff, and contributing to bid strategy and risk assessment.Base Pay RangeCA$85,000.00/yr – CA$95,000.00/yrKey ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed cost estimates for commercial and light‑industrial HVAC and plumbing projectsReview drawings, specifications, and tender documents to identify scope, risks, and opportunitiesPerform quantity take‑offs for mechanical systems including HVAC, piping, and plumbingSolicit and evaluate pricing from vendors, suppliers, and subcontractorsDevelop complete bid packages including labour, material, equipment, and subcontracted scopesWork closely with project managers and operations to ensure accurate project handoffParticipate in value engineering, alternative solutions, and cost‑saving initiativesMaintain historical cost data and contribute to continuous improvement of estimating processesSupport bid reviews and post‑bid analysisQualifications & ExperienceJourneyman certification in HVAC,
