Join OCWA as a Water and Wastewater Technician, where your work supports the health of communities through protected water management. This role involves the operation of advanced water treatment processes.
In this position, you will be responsible for the operation of a technologically sophisticated Class 4 facility. Your tasks include monitoring treatment systems and ensuring compliance with various regulations. Your ability to work in dual roles and your mechanical aptitude will be key in maintaining efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities: • Operate and monitor water treatment systems • Ensure safety compliance in operational tasks • Conduct troubleshooting and maintenance activities • Collaborate with technical teams for process enhancements • Report on and analyze operational data
Requirements: • Valid Class 1 Water Treatment certificate preferred • Must hold a valid Class G driver's license • Experience with SCADA and monitoring systems • Willing to work shifts and be on-call • Understanding of mechanical and industrial processes
