The hiring range for this role is $95,000 - $103,500 annually.How you will make a differenceSupport design, implementation, and oversee community real estate grant streams, including application frameworks, assessment rubrics, and reporting requirements.Review proposals, pro formas, and supporting documents to prepare funding recommendations.Support the development and monitoring of contracts and partnership agreements to ensure compliance, deliverables, and financial accountability.Provide capacity building support to grantee agencies in project readiness and delivery.Community Hub Planning & DevelopmentSupport the full lifecycle development of community hubs, integrating planning, feasibility, stakeholder engagement, and implementation with due diligence and coordination across acquisitions, leasing, predevelopment, and construction.Coordinate multi‑party project plans, aligning roles, timelines, scope, and budget; track milestones and identify risks or barriers.Work alongside project leads to prepare RFPs, contracts, project documentation, and maintain accurate records.Embed inclusive and community‑centered practices such as resident leadership, accessible participation, and equitable engagement into hub planning and operations.Stakeholder Engagement & PartnershipsSupport relationship building and engagement with community leaders, agencies, sector partners, and other stakeholders involved in grants, systems initiatives, and hub development.Steward volunteers, donors, and advisory partners participating in grant reviews and project governance.Research, Policy, & Equity-Centered PracticeSupport research partnerships, public policy initiatives,



and evaluation efforts related to the community real estate portfolio.Collaborate cross‑functionally with Research, Public Policy & Evaluation, Finance, Communications and other UWGT teams.Apply anti‑oppressive, anti‑racist, and equity‑driven approaches to grant making, planning, and stakeholder engagement.What you bring to the roleUniversity degree in a relevant field such as Urban Planning, Real Estate Development, Community Development, Geography, Urban Land Economics, Public Policy, Economic Development, Social Finance or a related discipline.Minimum 5 years in real estate development, grants management, urban development or community development (a combination is an asset).Strong ability to lead complex projects independently; skilled in planning, organizing, prioritizing, and meeting deadlines.Understanding of land use planning, development processes, real estate transactions, and community development frameworks.Experience in grant‑making, investment stewardship, or financial oversight within nonprofits, government, or development environments is an asset.Excellent relationship building, negotiation, and communication skills; comfortable working with diverse partners including agencies, community groups, consultants, and government stakeholders.Exceptional written and verbal communication, with the ability to synthesize information and present it clearly.Strong judgment and interpersonal skills, high attention to detail, self‑starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively, adaptable, curious, open‑minded, and comfortable working in a rapid‑paced environment,
