The Clerk's role is to support the Outpatient Mental Health and Addictions Program by providing reception, clerical, secretarial and administrative support to the various clinics. This position is required to travel to multi-sites.QUALIFICATIONSMedical Office Assistant certificate or graduate from an equivalent programMedical terminology certificateMinimum of one year experience working in a mental health setting (outpatient mental health, inpatient, psychiatrist's office)Working knowledge of medical office procedures and office equipment, i.E. photocopiers, fax, voice mail systems etcMust be able to type a minimum of 45 words per minuteExcellent computer skills required including the ability to operate all Microsoft applicationsKnowledgeable and proficient with Millennium (Cerner) SchedulingWorking knowledge of Millennium scanning procedureDemonstrated knowledge and experience in working with mental health clients, their families and community agenciesDemonstrated knowledge of psychiatric diagnosis, terminology and medicationsDemonstrated knowledge of Mental Health legislation (MHA, forms,
