Data Center ManagerAmazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a Data Center Manager to join our Infrastructure Operations team. The role ensures overall availability and reliability of data center operations, leading teams in hardware and network diagnostics with on‑call responsibilities.Key Job ResponsibilitiesPrioritize and assign trouble tickets to technicians and operators.Manage performance of a diverse team across multiple locations.Develop and maintain career paths and update internal records.Recruit and train staff to maintain staffing levels.Manage day‑to‑day operations: queue management, shift scheduling, hardware logistics.Ensure metrics and KPIs are measured and met.Drive continuous improvement, technology innovation, and automation.Serve as call leader during outages and escalations.Maintain on‑call schedule, coordinate absences and vacation coverage.Collaborate with engineering, capacity planning, and facilities teams.A Day in the LifeThe day starts with reviewing overnight alerts and ticket queue. By stand‑up, priorities are set and work is assigned. Mid‑morning focuses on coaching and career development. Afternoons include KPI reviews and cross‑functional calls. When large events occur, the role shifts to call leader,
