Employment Outreach Counsellor – Canada Summer Job GrantLocation: Upper Gage Career Centre (Hamilton), Canada. Pay: $18.60/hr. Job Type: Full‑time, 16‑week contract. Requisition ID: 1801.Funding:This position is funded by the Canada Summer Job Grant.ResponsibilitiesAssist in conducting intake interviews, client progress meetings, and conduct client orientation.Assist the Career Development Specialist in monitoring client attendance and work behaviours.Assist in providing case management services, including client goal planning, identifying and accessing appropriate services, and counselling clients to help them achieve their goals.Support clients with employment‑related activities at the on‑site employment resource centre.Liaise with community professionals and make community presentations as required.Attend staff meetings, seminars and workshops as required.QualificationsPost‑secondary education; experience in Social Work or Social Services field preferred.Experience and/or interest in case management and employment counselling.Experience and/or interest in working with persons with disabilities or employment disadvantages.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; self‑directed, flexible, organized,
