The Activity Group Leader (AGL) supports siblings of clients in the SNAP clinical programs.ResponsibilitiesProvide fun, engaging activities for children ages 2‑12.Prepare healthy snacks and manage clean‑up at end of session.Collaborate with Activity Group Support Worker & SNAP clinical staff to meet each child's needs.Supervise siblings during Activity Group, ensuring safety and security.Monitor participant behavior and intervene proactively to avoid behavioral escalations.Provide food and drinks as required; ensure refreshments available.Participate in pre‑briefs and post‑briefs with SNAP supervisor.Meet and greet families, accompany children to activity group.Maintain attendance records for ministry reporting.Ensure activity spaces are clean and secure after each shift.QualificationsChild and Youth Work Diploma/Degree.Must be Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI)



certified.Valid Standard First Aid and CPR (Level C).Excellent communication skills.Second language an asset.Demonstrated ability to work respectfully with diverse groups.Completion of Vulnerable Sector Check (required).Credential verification and references required.Other InformationMental effort requires multi‑tasking and handling interruptions.Mental flexibility required to lead group program with many components.Manage crisis situations as needed.Physical effort: standing and moving majority of shift; lifting up to 20 lbs.Working conditions: agile deadlines, frequent interruptions, moderate‑to‑high noise, fast‑paced environment.CompensationHourly rate: $23.34.
