We are trusted to manage the brands and reputations of public and private sector organizations operating across North America and internationally.WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FORAs part of the Communications team, you will support the development and execution of strategic communications campaigns for a diverse portfolio of clients. Working closely with senior consultants, you will help develop messaging, produce content, conduct research, and contribute to integrated communications strategies.This role is ideal for someone early in their communications career who enjoys working on complex issues, thrives in a fast-paced consulting environment, and wants to build their skills in strategic communications.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESSupport the development and execution of integrated communications strategiesDraft a range of communications materials including media releases, messaging documents, briefing notes, and digital contentConduct research on public policy issues, media coverage, and stakeholder landscapesMonitor media coverage and prepare summaries and reportsAssist with earned media, social media,
and digital communications initiativesSupport client projects and coordinate deliverables to ensure deadlines are metWork collaboratively with colleagues across government relations, communications, and consulting teams.SKILLS AND EXPERIENCETo be successful in this role, you should bring:1 - 2 years of progressive experience in communications or public relations (agency experience preferred)An undergraduate degree in Communications, Public Relations or similarExperience supporting communications campaigns involving owned, earned, shared, and paid mediaStrong writing and editing skills with strong attention to detailAbility to translate complex topics into clear, concise messagingStrong research, analytical, and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and work under deadlinesUnderstanding of the Canadian media landscapeFamiliarity with social media platforms such as Instagram, X, and TikTokASSETSFrench language proficiencyFormal training in public relations or communicationsWHAT WE OFFERCompetitive annual salary of ($50,000 - $55,000 CAD)Hybrid work environmentCareer development opportunitiesHealth benefits and a Wellness AccountThree weeks of vacation, flex days, and an extended holiday breakParental leave top-upPhone and data allowanceOpportunities to work on complex issues and high-profile client mandatesA collaborative and supportive team environmentSOUND LIKE YOU?
