Regularly reports participation and feedback by residents to the Team Leader.Promoting social interaction among residents by assuming leadership of assigned activities or special events, assists current residents with orientation to the building and to the recreation program,



and introduces them to the others within the residence and promoting conversation and social interaction among residents.Performing other duties as assigned.Must HavesA post-secondary diploma or degree in recreation and leisure studies, therapeutic recreation, kinesiology, gerontology or other related field from an indigenous Institute, private career college, college of applied arts and technology, another degree granting Institution OR equivalent work experience working with seniors.Valid Class 4 or equivalent Driver's LicenseClean driving record must be providedExperience in working with seniors including an understanding of motivation concepts with seniors.Understanding of leisure principles.Computer proficiency.All applicants must successfully pass the prescribed Vulnerable Sector Check and Criminal Records Check.Sienna Senior Living may utilize artificial Intelligence to screen or assess applicants for this position.Sienna Senior Living is committed to employment equity, diversity, and inclusion in the workplace.
