Risk Management Advisor (HEA00340)Reporting to the Director, Health, Safety & Security, you will be part of the Health and Safety Department in Toronto, ON. You will lead the organization‑wide risk management program, ensuring a consistent and proactive approach to aviation safety and integrating safety protocols, guidelines and consultant recommendations into risk assessments for aviation‑related activities.ResponsibilitiesLead and oversee the organization‑wide risk management program, providing expert guidance on implementation, monitoring and continuous improvement.Coordinate the aviation safety program across sites in collaboration with aviation consultants, ensuring full compliance with BARS requirements and internal standards.Track, review, update and communicate aviation standards and non‑conformance findings, ensuring timely corrective action.Develop and maintain a comprehensive risk management audit program and associated KPIs, including selection and implementation of risk‑management software.Manage and monitor the aviation audit calendar,
support company charter service selection and serve as a subject‑matter reference for aviation incident investigations.Promote a robust risk‑management culture by developing and delivering training and e‑learning materials on bowtie analysis and other methodologies.Provide ongoing oversight and implementation of the Agnico Eagle Major Hazard Program, ensuring alignment with organizational risk‑management objectives.QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health, Safety, Mining, Risk Management or a related field.10–15 years of experience in risk management, aviation management, health and safety or a related area.Experience with an aviation specialist community.Proven experience overseeing and implementing risk‑management programs.Analytical thinker with the ability to identify risks, core issues and process improvements.Ability to work autonomously or in diverse teams.Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Bi‑lingual English/French or English/Spanish considered an asset.Work ScheduleSchedule: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday from the Corporate Office in Toronto, ON.
