The Senior Accountant will play a key role within the Finance team leading reporting and month-end preparation. This is an exciting opportunity to build the foundational processes for a growing business. In addition, there is an opportunity to partner with the business, understand the business model and be a financial business partner.This is a hybrid role, based in the Vancouver, BC area. The ideal candidate will work 2 days in the Vancouver office, with the flexibility to work remotely for the remainder of the week.Who You AreA proven track record in financial reporting and analysis at a senior individual contributor levelProfessional accounting designation CPA or equivalent is requiredStrong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standardsIntermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suiteUnderstanding of ERP and/or financial systemsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsComfortable working in a technology-forward environment; experience using AI tools such as Claude to enhance productivity, automate routine tasks, and surface insights is a strong assetExperience in retail, wholesale, ecommerce, logistics an assetFinancial ReportingPrepare financial reporting including month-end, quarter end and year-end financial statements and analysisPerform complex analysis of financial results and present insights to internal business stakeholdersDevelop strong understanding of financial forecast and perform meaningful variance analysisControls and Regulatory CompliancePlay a lead role in the financial audit,
