About the Opportunity A growing software company with operations across Canada is looking for a Lead Software Quality Engineer to join their thriving R&D group. Reporting to the Director, Engineering, this individual will lead a team of 4-6 skilled Software Quality Engineers in addition to providing technical leadership and ownership of the entire software testing infrastructure and test strategy. This role requires deep, holistic knowledge of complex distributed systems from a software testing perspective involving everything from database testing and API-level test development to front-end test automation, performance testing, and DevOps & CI/CD.This is a mid‑sized company that specializes in providing SaaS‑based software solutions to a global, telecom‑focused client‑base. While this software company is 100% remote‑friendly, only candidates residing within Ontario will be considered.About YouB.S. degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or similar field2+ years of people leadership experience (managerial or team lead) as well as the ambition, acumen,
