As a Food Service Worker, you’re at the heart of the Chadar (dining hall), keeping the energy high and the campers fed. From the excitement of the first day to the final campfire, you’ll be a part of the most legendary summer in Nova Scotia.What You'll Do:Fuel the Fun: Assist in preparing food items and serving customers on the line with a focus on outstanding customer service.Safety First: Maintain a culture where safety is a value by following all personal hygiene, food temperature, and cross-contamination protocols.Kitchen Operations: Organize your workspace, use recipes for portion control, and adapt practices to meet specific dietary requirements.Stay Sharp: Clean and sanitize dishes, equipment, and kitchen areas according to established schedules and Aramark standards.Daily Excellence: Complete temperature logs, handle food samples,



and use required PPE to ensure a safe setting for all.What You Bring:Experience: experience in food service is an asset.Certifications: Valid WHMIS and Food Safe (Basic or Advanced) certifications; First Aid is an asset.Communication: Strong interpersonal and English communication skills, with the ability to work effectively both supervised and unsupervised.Physical Readiness: Ability to stand for long periods, walk short and long distances, bend, twist, and push, pull, and lift an average of 12kg.Team Spirit: A genuine desire to provide excellent service and collaborate with your colleagues to ensure smooth operations.The successful candidate will need to complete and pass a criminal background check and vulnerable sector search (VSS).At Aramark, we believe that every employee should enjoy equal employment opportunity and be free to participate in all aspects of the company.
