It is important, in this dynamic environment, that everyone keep abreast of leading-edge technologies and techniques relating generally to MAMT’s core competencies and specifically to the assigned job function.Scope Of PositionThe Tool & Die Maker is a key member of the MWT team responsible for the design, development, fabrication and maintenance of tooling to meet the company’s manufacturing needs. This position requires working closely with supervisors, project leaders, and engineers to ensure the timely delivery of quality tooling that meets customer requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, design and build tooling with input from Supervisor, Tooling Manager and Project LeadersInteract with Designers/Project Leaders/Apprentices to develop (high volume) manufactural components with an eye for product improvement and potential build issuesEnsure that the customer’s requirements, which include project timing, part quality and delivery are understood and metConsider alternative solutions for given tasks or problemsMaintain job folder/electronic data and ensure proper job closureBe responsible for all parameters of assigned tasksReview project direction with Project LeaderKeep supervisor informed of all program issuesAssign tasks to co-workers as per direction of supervisorProvide training,
