OverviewThis role is hybrid and requires you to be at our downtown Toronto office (250 Yonge Street) at a minimum 4 days per week – subject to change at any time.We are building a strategic AI Development Practice and seeking a Senior AI Lead with strong technical expertise and a visionary mindset. This role involves designing and delivering Agentic AI solutions using Microsoft AI Foundry, Azure AI Search, and Azure OpenAI, while ensuring performance optimization and scalability for banking and financial services use cases.ResponsibilitiesLead AI Solution Development: Architect and implement advanced AI applications leveraging Microsoft AI Foundry and Azure OpenAI.Agentic AI Expertise: Design and deploy agent-based AI systems for complex workflows and decision-making.RAG-based Applications: Build Retrieval-Augmented Generation solutions integrated with Azure AI Search for high-accuracy responses.Performance Optimization: Manage model parameters, token limits, and temperature settings for optimal performance.Implement caching strategies to ensure strong hit rates and low latency.Strategic Planning: Define AI roadmaps, prioritize initiatives, and deliver both tactical and strategic solutions.Data Management: Oversee data collection, cleansing, and preparation for banking and financial domain-specific use cases.Collaboration:
Partner with cross-functional teams to align AI solutions with business objectives.QualificationsExperience: 2–4 years of hands-on experience in AI-driven application development.Proven expertise in Microsoft AI Foundry, Azure AI Search, and Azure OpenAI.Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of LLM parameters, token optimization, temperature tuning, and caching mechanisms.Proficiency in Python, Azure AI SDKs, and contemporary AI frameworks.Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of banking and financial services use cases.Soft Skills: Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and execution skills, strong leadership abilities; experience in response building for RFPs, proposal writing, presales support, and presentation skills.Education: Basic master's degree in Computer Science and/or Statistics. Advanced degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, or related fields preferred.CompensationA reasonable estimate of the current pay range is $80,000–$130,000.
