OverviewPosition DescriptionThis role is hybrid and requires you to be at our downtown Toronto and/or Client office (81 Bay Street, Toronto) at a minimum 2 days per week - subject to change at any time.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements for data platforms, analytics, and AI-driven solutionsTranslate business requirements into functional specifications, data mappings, and user storiesPartner with data engineering and AI teams to design:Data pipelines (ETL/ELT)AI-enabled workflows and agent-based processesDefine and document data lineage, governance, and data quality rulesSupport development of AI agents and use cases (e.G., process automation, decision support tools)Facilitate workshops and drive stakeholder alignment across business and technology teamsPerform data analysis, profiling, and validationContribute to UAT planning and executionEnsure compliance with banking regulatory and data governance standardsAct as a liaison between business units and delivery teamsRequired Qualifications5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst in data-centric environmentsStrong experience with:SQL and data analysisData warehousing concepts (e.G., Snowflake, BigQuery, or similar)ETL/ELT processesExperience Working In Financial Services (banking Preferred)Hands-on exposure to AI/ML or GenAI solutionsUnderstanding of AI agents, automation workflows, or orchestration toolsExperience writing:User storiesFunctional specificationsData mapping documentsFamiliarity with Agile/Scrum delivery modelsNice-to-HaveExperience with tools such as Databricks, Azure Data Factory, or AirflowExposure to LLMs, prompt design, or AI copilotsKnowledge of data governance frameworks (e.G., DAMA, BCBS 239)Experience supporting AI use cases in bankingCompensation and About CGICGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role.



The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $95,000–$145,000.
