The Senior Software Specialist role supports the delivery of building controls system solutions across large, complex construction and retrofit projects. This role is responsible for the design, configuration, integration, and support of control software used in building automation, analytics, and system interoperability.Working closely with project managers, controls engineers, field teams, and clients, this position plays a key role in ensuring systems are delivered reliably, tested thoroughly, and transitioned successfully into operation.Key Impact / PurposeSupport project delivery by providing reliable, well-integrated control system software solutionsImprove system performance and stability through solid design and troubleshooting practicesEnable effective collaboration between software, controls, customer IT, and field teamsContribute to consistent standards and best practices across IBT projectsResponsibilitiesDevelop, configure, and support software used in building automation systemsSupport system architecture, design reviews, and implementation planningIntegrate software with building automation systems, networks, and third‑party platformsTroubleshoot software, system, and network issues during commissioning and post‑handoverSupport testing, verification, and validation of software and system functionalityParticipate in site activities as required to support system startup and issue resolutionPrepare and review technical documentation, including configurations and as‑built informationWork collaboratively with Project Managers and project teams to meet delivery schedulesContribute to internal tools, documentation, and continuous improvement initiativesProvide technical support and guidance to junior team members as appropriateQualifications – Must‑HavesPost‑secondary diploma or degree in Software, Computer, Automation, or a related technical discipline5+ years of experience in a software, systems integration,
