Start June/July 2026.Key ResponsibilitiesTranslate product requirements and UX designs into high‑quality, accessible user interfaces.Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and engineers to shape requirements and iterate on solutions.Build and maintain reusable UI components and interaction patterns across the product.Implement responsive, performant frontend experiences with attention to usability and visual polish.Ensure accessibility and internationalization best practices are applied across the UI.Validate UX with rapid prototyping, user feedback, and iterative improvement.Write clean, maintainable, and well‑documented frontend code.Participate in code reviews, testing, and release processes.Required QualificationsCompleted a Master’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent science/engineering field by August 2026.Must start within 12 months of graduating (start date: June/July 2026).Proven experience as a UX Engineer, Frontend Engineer with strong UX focus, or similar role.Strong proficiency with modern frontend development (TypeScript and component‑based UI).Experience building and shipping React‑based user interfaces.Experience with unit testing and end‑to‑end (E2E) testing.Familiarity with frontend build and development best practices (local dev workflows, builds,



debugging).Familiarity with modern frontend tooling and workflows for building, testing, and maintaining UI components.Solid understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and information architecture.Experience building design systems or reusable component libraries.Working knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design practices.Familiarity with integrating frontend applications with RESTful APIs.Experience with source control systems and agile development.Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.Reside in Canada and/or attend a Canadian university.Capable of acquiring work authorization in Canada in 2026.Preferred SkillsExperience collaborating on or implementing designs from tools like Figma.Familiarity with developer experience (DX) concepts and building tooling for technical users.Experience with performance profiling and optimizing contemporary web applications.Exposure to Java‑based backend services and microservice architectures; Micronaut experience isa plus.Hands‑on experience with usability testing, analytics, or experimentation (A/B testing) workflows.CompensationSalary range (CAD): $59,500 – $97,700 per year.LocationCanada (Remote within Canada).
