Our team works closely with People, Finance, and business leaders across the company to ensure our compensation strategy is competitive, equitable, and scalable as Stripe continues to grow globally.What you’ll doAs a Compensation Program Manager, you’ll lead key aspects of our global compensation strategy design and execution. You’ll be instrumental in building and running our core compensation programs across Stripe’s global organization, working closely with cross‑functional stakeholders in People and across the business to help Stripe scale effectively.ResponsibilitiesSupport the planning and administration of our annual compensation cycle for all global employeesConduct research and analysis for new compensation policies and programsManage and analyze complex datasets to distill insights and convey findings; build tools as requiredto improve efficiencyPartner with People Operations to configure and enhance business processes, compensation rule plans, compensation packages, and equity programsPartner with People Programs, Talent Acquisition, People Operations,
and L&D; teams to align on business objectives and to collaborate on talent solutions as a cross‑functional teamDevelop clear enablement and communications plans to educate managers and employees on all compensation programsContinually evaluate compensation programs to ensure they are legally compliant, competitive, equitable, aligned with the overall compensation philosophy, and driving the appropriate business resultsWho you areWe’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.Minimum requirements5+ years of relevant work experience in compensation; including developing and managing global compensation programs and processes, preferably in a high-growth, scaling, technology setting.Strong understanding of compensation best practices, current compensation trends, and market benchmark data; international compensation experience preferred.Proven analytical skills, keen eye for detail, and have truly in-depth knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets including building and maintaining complex models.Experience communicating effectively across diverse teams, including translating complex ideas and quantitative insights into digestible information for leaders and employees.Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple high priorities in a dynamic environment.Strong knowledge of Workday.Preferred QualificationsAbility to leverage AI in building tools, automating tasks, and enhancing workflow efficiency.Involvement in equity‑administration processes in coordination with Equity Management and/or People Operations teams.Location and compensationThis role is available either in an office or a remote location (35+ miles or 56+ km from a Stripe office). The annual US base salary range for this role is $187,800 – $281,600.
