SHIFT COORDINATORActivity sector:Pulp and PaperSite:KamloopsSalary Range:$140,000-$160,000Schedule:4 on, 4 off (2 day shifts, 2 night shifts, 12‑hours each)YOUR ROLEReporting to the Fibreline Manager, the Shift Coordinator will be responsible for providing leadership to the crews ensuring the safe and effective performance of their duties. The Shift Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that all legislated environmental and regulatory requirements that pertain to training the crew in safe operation of the equipment are met. The Shift Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that department health and safety, environmental compliance, quality, production, cost and customer satisfaction objectives are continuously met.Your ResponsibilitiesAssure safety awareness, safe work, safety training and compliance with safety procedures and policies in all work performed by the crew membersConduct equipment and housekeeping inspections of the Fibreline and write work orders when deficiencies are observedProvide leadership, supervision, training and coaching to production line employeesCommunicate mill and department performance levels and standards to OperatorsRecommend and initiates solutions for continuous improvementCoordinate department production activities to meet Company and Department goalsWork with Maintenance to complete shutdowns and maintenance work, as safely and efficiently as possibleMaintain budgeted production requirements at planned quality with the lowest possible costWork with maintenance staff to determine ways to improve the reliability of equipment and systemsCoordinate production start ups, shutdowns and changeoversBe responsible for quality control,
