Journeyperson Electrician (EHT Preferred)We are looking for a qualified Journeyman Electrician with experience in heat trace to join our team on a 14/14 schedule in Fort McMurray from April 2026 to August 2026 with strong potential for continued support beyond that period. In this role, you will support the execution of heat management systems, with a primary focus on electric heat tracing (EHT) installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting in an industrial environment.The CompanyMSCP provides highly innovative technical and organizational solutions for Heat Management in the Energy sector. empowerment, open and frank communication and win-win relationships are paramount.ResponsibilitiesInstall, maintain, and troubleshoot electric heat tracing (EHT) systems.Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and heat trace designs.Support commissioning and QA/QC of heat management systems.Ensure proper installation of cables, terminations, panels, and controls.Troubleshoot system issues and support corrective actions.System CoordinationWork closely with insulation crews to ensure system integrity and performance.Identify field constraints impacting execution and communicate effectively.Support alignment of electrical work with overall project flow.Planning & ExecutionEnsure readiness for assigned work scopes.Support execution planning and completion of required checklists.Maintain awareness of materials, tools, and equipment required to complete work efficiently.Safety & ComplianceFollow all site-specific safety requirements and company policies.Participate in daily toolbox meetings and FLHAs.Maintain high awareness of personal and team safety.Ensure work is completed in compliance with applicable codes and standards.QualificationsJourneyperson Electrician (Red Seal preferred).Strong experience with Electric Heat Tracing (EHT) (preferred).Experience in industrial or oil sands environments.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, system-based environment.Salary56.00 per hour blended rate.Benefits (after 3 Months)Dental careExtended health carePaid time offVision careSchedule14/14 - 11.5 hour days - fly in/out.Job TypeShutdown.Work LocationFort McMurray.#J-18808-Ljbffr
