We’re an entrepreneurial team that is on a continuous mission to position CGI as the best‑in‑class AI partner and develop new and exciting opportunities in the latest technologies.Working with us, you will be supported by our best and brightest AI Scientists and Architects working on challenging projects in Generative AI and Agentic AI.Future duties and responsibilitiesBuilding Large Language Models‑based and NLP‑based solutions for CGI clients by researching the best in class techniques and being a self‑starterData Engineering and Prompt Engineering the LLM solutions end‑to‑end to enhance end‑user experienceBeing "hands‑on" to build, tune, deploy and monitor (MLOps) robust Machine Learning solutions built on RAG and latest techniquesFine‑tune LLMs with latest cost‑optimised PEFT techniques like LoRA, QLoRABuild and deploy latest Agentic AI solutionsMitigate risks and optimise costs associated with choosing a GenAI architecture solutionStrategically and intensely collaborating with innovation team and the client stakeholders and account teams to explore key GenAI solutionsCollaborate with other Data Scientists and Data Engineers in a client engagement settingImplementing proof of concepts to show value and then package and scale to full ML solutions at scale on both on‑prem and cloud environmentsThis role comes with sometimes intense delivery expectations churning out POVs for clients in a short period of time and then going on to implement a full‑scale production solution ensuring right user experience and adoption.Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This RoleHands‑on work experience with implementing Agentic AI business process automation workflows or GenAI based solutions on at least 1–2 different projectsPrompt Engineering experience and experience with tools such as Langchain, Langgraph, Amazon Bedrock, Azure Foundry, Azure Copilot Studio, Vertex AI, Google ADK would be idealExperience building LLM‑based solution on Azure, AWS or GCPExperience fine‑tuning LLMs with latest techniquesExperience with some GenAI models including open source models deployment (LLaMa, Mistral et al)Experience with Vector DatabasesHands‑on expertise in building and deploying code in Python, SQL and major programming languages with at least one major Cloud platform Azure, AWS, GCPBachelor's Degree in Computer Science or relevant fieldAdditional Desired QualificationsExperience with QA/QE process or creating automation test scripts in Python/Java is highly desiredCGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors including but not limited to skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $80,000 – $130,000.
