Annualized Salary Range: $134,000 to $158,000 Travel: Approximately 35 to 50 percent travel required Position Summary In this position the Medical Science Liaison will facilitate and develop relationships with the medical and scientific community by communicating product related information to investigators and institutions. The role provides information on research developments and new concepts in medical treatment while offering scientific perspective to field activities associated with growing existing products and supporting the introduction of recent therapies. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain relationships with clinical investigators and key institutions relevant to the appropriate use of products Communicate scientific and clinical information to healthcare professionals and investigators Support medical education initiatives including presentations to healthcare professionals and formulary committees when appropriate Identify medical community training and educational needs related to product introduction and collaborate with internal teams to ensure appropriate education is provided Facilitate participation in clinical trials programs Increase organizational visibility with current and emerging industry leaders Identify clinical research opportunities consistent with organizational objectives Serve as a key contact for investigators initiating investigator initiated trials Provide investigators with technical support for study development Identify and communicate key clinical and research insights from external experts to internal teams to support research, development and strategic planning Maintain scientific and clinical expertise through continuous education including conferences, scientific workshops and review of relevant journals Requirements A registered nurse license, a bachelor's degree in science or biology, a PharmD or PhD degree or equiv...
