Working at the intersection of user research, business strategy and technical implementation, you’ll translate complex user journeys into elegant, accessible designs that deliver measurable results. We’re looking for someone who can balance user needs with business goals, finding creative solutions that serve both. Success means designing experiences that users love and that drive key business metrics.What you will be doing:Design user experiences that reduce friction and improve task completion across digital touchpointsCreate wireframes, prototypes, and user flows that effectively communicate design intent to stakeholdersConduct user research activities including interviews, usability testing, and journey mapping to inform design decisionsCollaborate with product managers, developers, and content teams to ensure seamless implementationBuild and maintain design systems that ensure consistency across platforms and productsTransform user insights and business requirements into testable design hypothesesGuide accessibility standards and inclusive design practices across all digital productsPresent design rationale clearly to clients and stakeholders,
connecting design decisions to business outcomesStay current with UX trends, platform guidelines, and emerging technologies to enhance user experiencesDeliver designs that improve key metrics such as conversion rates, user satisfaction, and task completionManage and maintain Sitecore CMS platform for optimal performance, which would include developing content templates, components, and workflowsManage project tickets and workflows through Jira ticketing systemTroubleshoot technical issues and provide timely resolutionsWhat you need to be great in this role:A portfolio demonstrating user-centered design process, with strong problem-solving and systems thinkingProficiency in design tools including Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD, plus prototyping tools like InVision or PrincipleExperience with user research methods including usability testing, interviews, and analytics interpretationUnderstanding of responsive design principles and accessibility standards (WCAG)Ability to create clear wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes that guide developmentStrong communication skills for presenting design rationale and facilitating collaborative workshopsExperience working in agile environments with cross‑functional teamsUnderstanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript fundamentals and technical constraintsProficiency with Gen AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Figma AI, Miro AI) to enhance research synthesis, content creation, and ideationAgentic mindset: ability to break down complex user problems systematically and identify optimal design approachesExperience using AI for user research analysis,
persona development, and design iterationUnderstanding of AI capabilities and limitations in UX design, with strong human‑centered evaluationAbility to leverage AI tools while maintaining focus on real user needs and usability principlesExperience designing for financial services, fintech, or regulated industriesKnowledge of data visualization and dashboard designExperience with user testing platforms like Maze, UsabilityHub, or UserTestingUnderstanding of conversion optimization and A/B testing methodologiesMotion design skills for micro‑interactions and transitionsAt the time of this posting, the base salary for this position may range from $93,500.00 CAD to $104,500.00 CAD. Individual compensation varies based on job‑related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
