This role is based at our Eaton Americas Innovation Center in Brossard (Québec) and offers hybrid work opportunities, as well as perks from day one. As part of a multidisciplinary development team, the Senior QA Developer will participate in the testing, the quality control and the automation of test scripts for the software and high technology projects in the field of analysis and modeling of electricity distribution networks and renewable energies.Essential ResponsibilitiesDevelop and document test plans, cases, and scriptsDefine and align testing strategies with project requirementsPerform manual and automated testing to identify bugsExecute functional, regression, integration, and performance testingIdentify, document,



and track software defectsCommunicate issues to the development team and collaborate on solutionsEnsure the software meets specified requirements and standardsValidate that the final product is user-friendly and performs as expectedMentor junior QA developers and lead them towards effective problem-solvingRequired QualificationsBachelor’s studies in engineering, computer science or equivalent from an accredited institutionMinimum 5 years of experience in test automation and applying software testing techniquesMinimum 5 years of experience in programming (C++/C#, Java and/or Python)Experience on tests automation tools for Desktop, Web applications or Web services (e.G. Cypress, Selenium, Test Complete, SOAPUI, Postman)Experience with Git, GitHub and CI/CDFluency in English and French (working proficiency in both languages).
