If you 're ready to take the next step in your career, apply today and join our team in various locations across Alberta.Essential ResponsibilitiesAssist leadership with daily tasks including safety toolbox meetings, equipment inspection, and road condition inspection reportsSupport Foreperson in the planning of work to meet contractual milestonesMonitor the quality of work performed by the crewOperate equipment on work sites as neededHelp ensure health, safety, and environment related concerns are addressed promptlyQualificationsValid Class 1 or 3 driver 's license with air endorsement and a clear 3-year driver 's abstractPrevious supervisory experience in highway maintenance, road construction, bridges or related field is requiredSnow plow experience is preferredStrong understanding of provincial and/or municipal highway maintenance specificationsProfessional written and verbal communication skillsComputer skills are an assetSuccessful completion of pre-employment drug and alcohol and audiogram testingWork ConditionsLocal candidates will be given preference due to the location of the workWill be required to work shifts, on-call,
and nights as necessaryBenefits provided by CLACWork will be outdoors in various weather conditionsRates & PremiumsBase hourly rate of $33.75Premiums starting at $8/hour when performing winter maintenance operationsOperators may receive a premium up to $14/hour when performing winter operations as a Class 1 operator and while operating the tow plow unitAdditional InformationLedcor builds and maintains infrastructure in oil and gas, transportation, and mining.
