Fire Protection DesignerFull TimeDuties and Responsibilities:Design and assist in the preparation of fire protection drawings and schematics, adhering to NFPA standards and building codes, including required calculations.Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, and other applicable software.Coordinate sprinkler system piping with other building components and perform hydraulic calculations.Coordinate with other consulting disciplines to ensure drawing integrity and completeness.Perform site investigation to verify existing site condition, if required.Perform general duties as required such as printing, plotting, scanning, conversion, shop drawings, quantity take‑offs, and measurement.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications and Requirements:Post‑secondary Diploma or Certificate in Fire Protection or a related field.3+ years of work experience in fire protection design.Solid working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and other software programs.Knowledge of HydraCALC.Experience with ESFR and high‑piled storage application is an asset.Working knowledge of applicable codes and standards such as the Ontario Building Code, NFPA standards,
