We’re thrilled to welcome those whowant to learn more about us and to be part of what we do.Your chance:The Hospitality & Ancillary Services department oversees several contracted and self-operated services at U of T Mississauga. Reporting to the Manager, Retail Services, the Retail Services Assistant provides support for Hospitality & Ancillary Services by delivering of mail and print jobs, by ensuring that all vending machines are operational, by tending to the vertical farm,



and by assisting with the operation of other retail services as required.Your responsibilities will include:Setting up and troubleshooting printersUpdating and maintaining database recordsApplying established standards when determining what bindery methods to use for print jobsScanning records, Photocopying and/or printing and passing on copies of exam materialsFollowing rules and procedural instructions when operating photocopiersApplying established standards when operating equipmentFollowing rules and procedural instructions when receiving, sorting and distributing mailApplying established standards when planting, maintaining, and fertilizing plant materialEssential Qualifications:High School Diploma or acceptable combination of equivalent experience.Minimum two years of related experience, preferably within print productionExcellent customer service skillsBasic computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite and emailAbility to occasionally lift up to 30kg and push/pull a cart with loads up to 100kgAbility to work outside in various weather conditions at least once per dayProduction printing experienceAssets (Nonessential):Customer service experience in a student and/or academic environmentExperience with vending servicesExperience with mail sorting and delivery servicesTo be successful in this role you will be:AccountableMeticulousMulti-taskerPossess a positive attitudeProblem solverTeam playerClosing Date:09/01/2026, 11:59PM ETEmployee Group:USWAppointment Type : Budget - ContinuingSchedule:Full-TimePay Scale Group & Hiring Zone:USW Pay Band 05 -- $53,426. with an annual step progression to a maximum of $68,323.
