I will create clear, engaging messages for the public and support efforts to grow and maintain our fundraising and donor relationships.The successful candidate will be a strong communicator, an organized self-starter, and a collaborative team member who is comfortable managing multiple priorities in a energetic environment.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESManaging and maintaining the SaskSPCA’s social media channels, including content creation, scheduling, and engagementWriting and producing the organization’s quarterly newsletter and other e-blastsOverseeing and maintaining SaskSPCA websites (WordPress), including content updates, accuracy,
and overall user experienceServing as a media spokesperson and supporting public relations effortsHosting webinars and other virtual education sessionsDeveloping and supporting grassroots fundraising initiativesCoordinating donor stewardship activities, including donor recognition and communicationsAssisting with fundraising campaigns and initiatives, including SaskSPCA lotteriesRepresenting the SaskSPCA at community events and outreach opportunitiesSupporting the development and implementation of communications and fundraising strategiesCollaborating with staff, partners, and stakeholders to advance organizational prioritiesLOCATION AND WORKING CONDITIONSThis position is remote; however, the successfulcandidate must be based in Saskatchewan. Regular travel will be required, including periodic in-person work at the SaskSPCA office in Saskatoon and attendance at community events across the province. Evening and weekend work will be required, as needed. A valid Saskatchewan driver’s license and access to reliable transportation are required.
