This is not just a job—it’s a daily opportunity to make a difference.What You’ll DoYou’ll be at the heart of our Transitional Housing program. SCP Youth Care Workers show up for our youth everyday in meaningful and impactful ways. Supporting, connecting, empowering and advocating will be the cornerstones of your role.You’ll:Build trust-based, professional, boundaried relationships with youth aged 16–21Support daily living in transitional housing and life skill developmentImplement case plans and safety strategiesDocument youth interactions, appointments, and incidentsDe-escalate crises and respond to emergenciesWhat You BringThis isn’t your average desk job. It’s hands-on, emotionally charged,
and deeply human.We’re looking for someone with:High school diploma (post-secondary preferred)Frontline youth work experience (preferred)Solid communication and documentation skillsComfort navigating trauma, mental health, and substance useExcellent communication skillsThe ability to remain calm and decisive under pressureAdditional RequirementsValid SK Driver’s License with abstractCriminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector clearanceStrong time management and documentation skillsComfortable using HR systems and Microsoft OfficeTraining in CPR/First Aid, ASIST, Crisis Intervention, or Mental Health First Aid is an assetWhy Work With Us?At Street Culture Project, we’re not just a team—we’re a movement.
