Thermea Spa Village Whitby, Whitby, ON, CABuilding Maintenance Supervisor at Thermea Spa Village WhitbyReporting to the Manager of Technical Services, the Building Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily work of the Technical Services department, ensuring safe and effective execution of scheduled work. The Supervisor will monitor maintenance activities, compliance with procedures and communicate operational impact.What you’ll doSupervise, support and coach team members while respecting established policies and proceduresEnsure pool equipment and records are maintained as per regulation and internal standardsManage the weekly schedule and inform the team of planned workFollow up regularly on work progress to determine status, quality and ensure execution within established deadlinesMaintain communication with operations on the timing and status of work that impacts operations and downtime of assetsEnsure that maintenance work complies with health and safety, environmental and quality standardsReview completed work orders for accuracy, completeness,



and quality standardsRespond to emergency maintenance situations as neededParticipate in the creation of maintenance procedures for repetitive or critical work and solicit recommendations from employees for improvementProvide hands‑on support and act as backup for team members when neededProfile neededStrong knowledge of building maintenance systems, including mechanical, electrical, automated systemsKnowledge and understanding of pool maintenance and regulations a strong assetProficiency with CMMS tools and maintenance processes (preventative, corrective, predictive)Solid understanding of health and safety standardsStrong leadership qualities and ability to supervise multidisciplinary teamsEffective communication skills, both written and verbalProblem‑solving and decision‑making abilities in both routine and emergency situationsAbility to manage stress and make rapid, effective decisionsFlexibility and reliability, including availability for on‑call emergency responseWhenWork 40 hours per week with flexibility for days, evenings, holidays, and weekends as needed.CompensationAnnual compensation for the role is expected to be in the range of $40,000–$70,000Free Thermal Experience*Health Insurance**Some conditions applyAcccommodationsAccommodations are available upon request throughout the hiring process.
